This is the only tyre in this profile/size 175/65 R15 that allows me to enjoy the mini’s true character (the go kart handling!). This tyre has reasonable/good roll resistance (!) and great grip and handling. Most tyres these days feel like it’s on jelly with the “low roll resistance” fashion. I’ve not seen better fuel economy with the others in any case. Obviously because they grip well they wear more quickly than say a Michelin energy but really this is the only premium tyre I’ve found that is like a sports tyre in characteristics for this profile and 15inch...which works well on the mini. It doesn’t need big rims and low profile tyres with these continentals.

My favoured tyre and well priced

Much less road noise with these tyres on chipping type surfaces. A big improvement on tyres fitted when car was new by skoda

In comparison to other Hankook tyre types i've used over the years these were terrible verging on dangerous in respect to grip whilst breaking in all conditions. I have removed these tyres and reverted to the part worns previously fitted. There is something very wrong with the compound of these tyres.

Grip always feels good, very impressed with how they deal with standing water on fast roads.
19.03.2021fromNeil Hulbert
Driving reponse good with low road noise.

Fitted to a 1978 Dolomite Sprint for a European endurance run. Great grip and braking - very confident drive through the Alps and on some of those crazy European motorway interchanges with tight turns. Very pleased with these tyres and will busy again for this vehicle and the modern!

Drove this tyre in the hardest rain I've ever driven in on Friday 3rd July 2015 North of London those who experienced this storm will probably remember. Water was level with top of curb stones at times it was falling so heavily. It was very evident I still had control while those around me did not at times
03.05.2015fromPia
Good tyre for wet road conditions in city traffic. Slightly noisy but safety outweighs.

Excellent tyres having specified them before-original spec on many cars of the era
12.11.2014fromJohn
Superb tyres these uniroyal rain tyres. Now have all our family cars on them, so no better recommendation for safety & grip. Yes, the sidewalls are a bit softer than other brands but the superb grip in all conditions outweighs this and once you get used to the feel of the slight flexing when changing direction sharply they are very predictable. Our family now have rain sports on all our cars, a mixture of RS2, RS3 & rain expert. All are superb and are great for the lower grip levels and lower temperatures encountered in Scotland.

Fitted to the vehicle already when purchased.. They are an adequate budget tyre for perhaps city driving however they are poor in the wet. Lack any feedback in more active driving and in the wet have poor grip and braking performance with significant understeer in even damp conditions with even slightly 'active' driving. I've removed them off the car half worn and replaced with a premium brand as I'm not comfortable with their performance on mainly wet UK roads.
12.01.2023fromIan
I bought these tires as a cheaper alternative to a Continental tire, because the grip in wet conditions was rated excellent. That seems to be true. This type of tire is designed for lower rolling resistance and increased fuel economy - often that comes with lower wet grip. Not in this case.
06.12.2022fromYashwant
Always use this brand and model of tires. Because of its durability, and reliability. Best for me.

- Pretty good-short-braking and grip. In both wet and dry. Also, very good road feedback. - Comfort, economy, and quite tyres. With pretty good quality and price. - I will buy it again and again, for real. -Highly recommend it for me. Excellent. Quite quiet, it depends on the road surface and good economy. With extreme care, I managed 70.1 MPG over a 39 mile distance. Boring driving but it IS achievable. Ordinary driving with reasonable care is about 44-48 mpg. Very hard driving and high speed cruising in the lower 90s brings the fuel consumption up to 37 MPG, may be 34mpg. Actual wear is not bad and if you rotate them, even better before buying new ones. These are not a hard compound tyre so they won't wear THAT well, they will squeal quietly around roundabouts on about 50% wear if taking at a fair speed, but not madly. Overall, they are good and have bought them for this car since I bought it new in 2008. Kia Carens aren't bad, not quick but it's had TWO clutches in 50K. This was due to a fault in the alignment of the flywheel. It happened again on and identical Mileage (25K) as the Kia garage only replaced the clutch and plate and NOT the offending DMF (Dual Mass Flywheel.) So KIA, you ripped me off by only doing half a job. On all my cars, the clutches have lasted over 100K, Minimum. Been driving since 1973.

While driving I was simply shocked to feel the level of grip and confidence that this tyre gives you. If you allow yourself to get a little spirited with your driving and the tyre heats up, the grip on dry roads is second to none.

They were ok at the start but after about 15/20K km they became dangerously slip on wet.. to the point of causing several spins/violent oversteering (when fitted in the rear axle) and a couple near crashes, improved when mounted in front axle. When changed to different tyres all problems of grip on wet went away. The tyre condition tought was ok in wear despite the lack of grip on wet. I would definitly NOT recomend those to anyone who has to drive on wet/snow.

Feels solid and well placed on road, grip good no snow yet to assess but good in wet.

Initially nervous about changing brand from the fitted ones but needn't have worried. As with other cars we have used these on it is a huge improvement and we would buy the same again.
27.03.2021fromMichael Chapman
Probably the best tyres I have used. Comfortable and safe handling in all weather conditions here in Scotland hot summer, wet semi flooded and deep snow during the time owned. The best feature of these tyres on my vehicle is the feeling of safety and confidence with the Crossclimate + fitted
20.03.2021fromKevin Bates
I found this tire to be one of the best all round tires available. No matter the weather the car always felt sure footed. My Octavia was the Vrs model so had plenty of horsepower to transmit, and the Cross Climates made easy work of doing that. High speed driving was safe and quiet as was cornering. A fabulous tire! Only regret is the limited sizes because I can't get them to fit my Fabia Monte Carlo Estate else I would be running them on that as well.
