What tyre size do you require?
The exact size of a tyre can be found on its sidewall.
The following chart shows you how to read a tyre size.
1. Overall tire width in mm
2. Ratio of tire height to tire width in%
3. Tire design: ''R'' = radial tires (widely used), ''D'' or ''-'' = diagonal tires (rare)
4. Required rim diameter for this tire in inches
5. Key figure for tire load capacity
6. Key figure for the permissible maximum speed (speed index)
7. Motorcycle tire identification, tires only approved for motorcycles
8. DOT labeling
9. Date of manufacture of the tire (week of production / year of production)

SPEED INDEX:
The speed index indicates the maximum speed intended for the tyre. Up to this value, the manufacturer guarantees optimum operation with the appropriate tyre pressure. The maximum speed allowed for this vehicle is given in the vehicle owner's manual; this information can be used to select the appropriate speed index for the tyre. The speed index is the last mark on the sidewall of the tyre.

The tyre was professionally fitted and would not seat on the bead correctly, and deflated whilst I wax riding it home. The garage that fitted the tyre could not stop it leaking when fitted I had to buy an alternative tyre. Very very disappointed

This is a very comfortable tyre, I&#39;ve found that Continental tyres give a very cushioned ride and are very quiet. Wet grip seems good, and I can lean right over without a problem. They don&#39;t wear any quicker than anything else, all scooter tyres wear pretty quickly anyway. I&#39;ll buy the same again, only downside is that it was a tight fit on the rim, but the bead popped on without much of a problem L.

I&#39;m driving on city, countryside and highway. Going over 80km/h they&#39;re becoming noisy. On sport driving they have a good grip, you feel safe. When they are cold and you push them to the limit you can feel a little bit of nervous, but when they warm up they grip well. At white stripes they are slippery. At wet roads I&#39;m driving slow, im not push them. The DOT code is 3523.

I push these tyres to the limit, confidently grind the centre stand on dry roads. Great confidence and feel from these tyres. I ride very gently in the damp and wet, but am sure you could push them harder than I do in these conditions

Front tyre tested. Tyre performs well on dry road and dry gravel trails. Performs ok on wet roads under steering and breaking .A lot better in this regards than the K60 I had on the front before. Tyre is not great on wet grass and slides easily and with little warning. The Tourance is hopeless under any form of mud and wet rock. I would consider this tyre a 90 on road 10 Off road tyre.

Good tyre although the design is getting a bit old and there are newer models. Good dry and average wet grip. Average performance on gravel &amp; shale. Its not a full off-road tyre. It is possible to fit the tubed version yourself with tyre levers although the sidewalls are very stiff.

Tiger 1200 Oem tyres , very good all round tyre with lots of confidence in gravel, mixed roads and forest tracks, front tyre is not happy in the mushy wet grass centres of the tracks. Very committed road use shows no issues, running water on roads is no issue and surprisingly you use the whole tyre on the rear whereas on a gsa 1200 you don&rsquo;t seem to lean as far. In general 8o/20 and 70/30 tyres that actually work off road are rare, most clog up and the front behave like you are on ice, this one is better than the Michelin anakee and Dunlop offerings , a little noise but you wear ear plugs anyway so it&rsquo;s not an issue. Would buy again and to reconfirm if you really use the bike hard on road you will have no issues against a dedicated road tyre .

Bought these tyres on a whim, did a little research beforehand and these tyres appeared to have the right combination of profile and tread design for my riding style, and they also look cool as a bonus i commute every day from kent to and from central london (approx 13000 miles per year) so i have quite a wide variety of roads and traffic conditions to deal with from small back roads, semi-rural roads, dual carriageways, and stop start spaghetti roads in the city, i ride all-year round in all weather conditions including in snow and ice the tyres are chunky, nice tread with plenty of lugs, as a result handling on loose gravel and even wet grass feels very planted which is great compared to my stock CST tyres, these are absolutely amazing especially the wet performance, confidence in all situations including riding on white lines, emergency stops, and evasive maneuvers in unfavourable conditions was excellent, and they do indeed grip extremely well in snow and ice during hot summer conditions the tyre becomes extremely sticky and grippy, and in some rare cases can make handling feel slightly squirmy, wear is increased as well as fuel consumption, but they have survived winter and summer and the performance has not degraded much at all despite a bit of additional wear would not recommend this particular version for sports bikes or tourers (theres a version tailored to those) but scramblers, classics, commuters, scooters etc they are great

Best tyres you can buy for the 650 Burgman in terms of grip and handling but at you would expect if you have an active riding style they won&rsquo;t last as long as some other harder wearing tyres, you take your choice.
