Identify the size of your tyre
The exact dimensions of a tyre can be found on the sidewall printed mark. The graphic shows how to read properties and dimensions of the tyre:

SPEED INDEX:
The speed index indicates the maximum speed intended for the tyre. Up to this value, the manufacturer guarantees optimum operation with the appropriate tyre pressure. The maximum speed allowed for this vehicle is given in the vehicle owner's manual; this information can be used to select the appropriate speed index for the tyre. The speed index is the last mark on the sidewall of the tyre.
 
Load Index
Permissible maximum axle load per tyre in kg. To be found in the registration certificate or vehicle registration document or read directly from the tyre (two-digit number). It is permitted to fit a tyre with a higher load index.
 
Driving safety despite puncture
Runflat tyres are puncture-resistant tyres with reinforced sidewalls. This creates the so-called run-flat property. In the event of damage, this allows the vehicle to continue driving up to a distance of approx. 100 km (and even beyond depending on the product) at a maximum speed of 80 km/h, even if the pressure has been completely lost. Run-flat tyres even prevent the tyre rubber from jumping off the rim in the event of a loss of air pressure. A flat tyre is therefore still a flat tyre, but it loses some of its drama. Note: All run-flat tyres are marked with the symbol "RSC" (Runflat System Component) and may only be fitted in vehicles with a functioning air pressure control system!
 
Tyres with increased load capacity
Reinforced tyres are designed for higher loads than normal tyres. They can be identified by the designation 'RF' (reinforced) or also 'XL' or 'Extra Load'. They are used on vans, minibuses, off-road vehicles, etc. However, their mounting alone does not automatically result in higher load capacity but also requires a correspondingly higher air pressure. Furthermore, the load capacity index specified in the vehicle documents continues to apply.
 
Tyres with extra high load capacity
The "C" in the term C tyres stands for "commercial". These tyres are specially designed for commercial vehicles. These can be, for example, lighter trucks, delivery vans, flatbed trucks or panel vans. In other words: vehicles that have to move higher loads at a comparatively lower speed. The multi-ply reinforced C tyres are therefore even more load-bearing than reinforced tyres.
 
Mobility-optimised tyres
A tyre with a sealing layer on the opposite side of the tyre tread. In the event of a puncture (e.g. by a nail), this layer blocks any loss of air, even if the foreign body causing the puncture is still in the tyre. It is not necessary to stop or change the tyres immediately at the roadside.

Excellent tyres. I tried the General Grabber having previously had Michelin Cross Climate and Geolander. The Grabber is a much better all round tyre for highway and countryside driving. The chunky tyre in no way seems any louder and overall driving is excellent. We have only had a few snow days this year and the tyres were good (on an AWD vehicle) although it wasn&#39;t much of a test to trial them out.

From starting point it&#39;s average, braking on snow is very long, you need calculate the distance from another car. When turning, it&#39;s horrible, because the car slides to another direction. You need to turn so slow, instead of crashing. Don&#39;t recommend.

The tyres are very comfortable thanks to their very soft side walls. The noise was very low when new, now slowly raises but still okay. The handling is not very good, but it is a suv, so I don&#39;t mind. The wet performance could be better. But: the tire costs half the price of any other tyre for CR-V and doesn&#39;t fail in any aspect.

The loudest tires ever bought in 30 years... I went back to seller who recommended brand and model, he replied is road&#39;s fault... Now after just 2000km I am looking forward to wear them out, as these tires turned a very very quiet car (reason why I bough it) in a rumble of madness on the motorway where grainy asphalt is used for draining water... let me reiterate: the loudest tires ever bought in 30 years !! I am italian and was happy to buy an italian product... after this experience... no more Pirelli... EVER ! There are so many good brands out there. Was upgrading wheels so decided to get all new tyres aswell so picked tyres that were of a better make with good properties however they do slip easily on a wet road more than I had expected, give a comfortable ride considering the state of some roads seem to be wearing well although not done a large mileage on these so far, road noise is acceptable, all in all I would say they seem to be a decent tyre overall

I have front set of 2 tires 1 year and around 20000km old, and rear set 6 months and around 10000km. Tyres are excellent for my car on dry and wet. There&#39;s not much snow in this part of England, but was some WET snow last winter and tyres were good on start and in curves but on braking just slide (wet snow i suppose). I have been on the road trip this summer 5000km+, and tyres aren&#39;t worn at all. Good grip in curves on motorway at high speed (up to 180 km/h) on dry and wet.

This is a benign tyre. It resists aquaplaning. It gives plenty of warning before it lets go. I don't drive fast - so press-on drivers may not like it; but I cannot fault it. I do switch to winter tyres, for three months of the year. (Scotland).

Purchased these tyres for my Citroen C6 - a relatively rare car. The great thing about a C6 is that it is very refined comfortable and quiet. The previous budget Nankang tyres were terrible - much too noisy. These are superb and ideally matched to the Citroens charachteristics. I have maked grip handling etc as 5 stars because I have no evidence that they are not, but I do not drive this car like a teenage lunatic.

I bought these as they rated well performing across the board. Not top in anything but above everything that was top in at least one area. The wet grip and braking is fantastic. Performed well throughout the cold months but we had no snow this year to test them. On warm dry roads the compound or pattern does not allow for an aggressive driving style but I never intended to keep them on in the summer so this was irrelevant to me. They make a noise like driving through standing water in the wet which is strange at first but I wouldn&#39;t say generally they were any noisier than my Eagle asymmetric 2 that they replaced. Did everything I expected from them and will be re fitting them come the winter.

Excellent grip, much better in the wet than other tyres I have used on the same vehicle. Fuel consumption seems to have improved slightly and the tyres are fairly quiet. I think the ride might be a little harsher than it was.
