Comment:
The Medium hard compound advan A048 is the first R comp I've had on my own car, the turn in and break away feel very much like a conventional street tire, its after a couple laps that these tires start to shine, once they are warm they have excellent cornering grip and are very consistent and predictable. the manufacturer recommends they be used between 33 and 36 psi warm.on three occasions I've started them at 28psi cold and have only gotten them to 31 warm, even at 31psi I was not getting full use of the tread block, though the sidewall still had some squirm. i used them for 1 auto X on a cool day and without hot lapping i could not get enough heat into them to out perform mediocre street tires. this is an excellent track tire, not so much an all arounder.
