Comment:
VERY disappointed with this tire. The only positive for it is that the grip is very good under normal city and freeway driving conditions. (not an aggressive driver but do drive a lot of quick accelerating and stopping at times). I cannot state strongly enough how loud these tires are. For the first few thousand miles they sounded OK. Then they become so loud that it literally hurt my ears. And this is in a semi-luxury car with very good insulation! I thought there was something wrong with my car mechanics and had my mechanic check it out. He said that it was just the tires. He said that they were mounted and balanced correctly the tires just suck. Also, my front tires wore down to dangerous levels after just over 10,000 miles. One front tire is completely bald, the other is worn less badly but still needed to be changed. (had to chang them anyway because of the noise...). I thought that maybe it was an alignment or mechanical problem with the car but the wear is consistent across the whole face of the tire. Both my mechanic and the tire store said that the car was not the problem. Overall, they are very poor tires that I would strongly discourage anyone from purchasing.
