Comment:
Just got these tires a couple of weeks ago so this is first impression opinions. UTQG codes: 300 AA A That should assure OK treadlife and good wet performance. So far I can agree that wet performance is good. Resistance to hydroplaning as well as braking is good. Side grip is OK. Unfortunately the tire only has a tread depth of 7,3mm when new, which is over 1mm less than many other tires. Noise is OK, louder than Nokian NRHi but quieter than Hankook K104. Comfort is also OK. Opel Omega has low directional stability so choosing correct tires are critical. Verso has OK directional stability, however Nokian NRHi was better. I've given grade 6 for snow because it's a H-rated summer tire and shouldn't be used during winter. I've given treadwear grade 3 due to rather low tread depth, however a treadwear rating of 300 is slightly better than other brands. Tires are nice and round. The biggest balancing weight used was 20gr. Considering it's low price I consider this tire a bargain compared to a lot of the Taiwanese and Chinese crap on the market. (Marangoni is Italian). So far - recommendable. Will write new report after driving 5000km.
