Great tires for the winter...Traction and braking conditions in the snow are amazing. This is my second time i bought these for winter and again I wasnt dissapointed. Even tho this winter was easy on snow, in dry conditions tire perform OK. A little wobbly on the highway due to softer compound and larger sidewalls. Definitely stands up to 120mph. I had these NOT STUDDED so the noise level was very comfortable. After one winter, around 15000 miles ( had very long commute) they still have plenty of thread left. Sitting and waiting in my basement for some more snow. Highly reccomended!!! Remember one time i tried to make up one big hill with my old all season tires and made it maybe 10% and had to turn around. With W409 the car would not budge...Went up the hill like it was middle of the summer (both tests were during snow storm with unplowed snow on the ground) It was even hard to brake them loose to do some drifting in the snow :/
