These take the white-knuckles out of winter. In comparing with other snow tires, I love these. Have 2 winters use and expecting 2 more. I have them studded, which are incredibly noisy at lower speeds (duh), but quiets down above 50mph. Incredible traction in everything winter has to offer. I have had many models of the deservedly famous Nokian Hakka's, and these are nearly as good for handling is so-so (not as marshmellow-like as older Blizzaks, yet not as stable as Hakka 1's), but they're fine unless you start abusing them. In snow, the turning and braking performance alone are worth the price of a set. In summary, very pleased and have ordered our 3rd set.
